Community guidelines

Short version: be specific, be kind, talk about the track and not the person.

1. Be specific. "The kick and bass fight around 60 Hz at 0:48" helps. "Sounds bad" doesn't. If you only have a feeling, say that: "I lost interest here" is useful too.
2. Be kind. Honest is good. Cruel is not. Everyone here made something and shared it to make it better.
3. Critique the track, not the person. "The second verse drags" is fine. Comments about someone's age, gender, country or taste in music are not.
4. Only your own music. Upload only tracks you made yourself and have the right to share. Don't upload other people's work.
5. No AI-generated music. Tracks generated by AI tools (Suno, Udio and the like) are not allowed here.
6. No ads. Don't use comments or tracks to sell things, spam links or promote services.
7. No hate. No harassment, threats, slurs or discrimination. Don't share anyone's personal details.

Reporting

See something that breaks these rules? Use the report button on a track or comment. Reported tracks and comments can be hidden until we've looked at them.

What happens if you break them

Depending on how serious it is and whether it keeps happening: your content is hidden or removed, or your account is limited or banned. For copyright problems, see the copyright page.
